Went to New Orleans for the first time with a bunch of my friends. I absolutely LOVED New Orleans. The history, the buildings, the music, the kind people, the fun!
Day 1: (It was hot and sunny!) Beignets at Cafe De Monde, a lot of walking around the French Quarter with drinks in hand, catching beads on Bourbon st., fried chicken at Coop's Place , live jazz music on Frenchman Street and purple slushy drinks at Lafitte's Blacksmith Bar.
Day 2: (it was POURING and FREEZING!) Brunch at Cane + Table, exploring the French Market, hot sauce tasting, more fried chicken at Willie's Chicken Shack , Christmas lights at The Roosevelt Hotel, being fancy drinking Sazerac at the Sazerac bar, delicious cheese, live jazz music, wine and food at Bacchanal Wine and ending with Karaoke on Bourbon St. (naturally).
Day 3: Muffuletta at Central Grocery, shopping and walking around the Garden district, lunch at Joey K's, airport :(
Everyday: laughing, crying laughing, taking a million pictures, listening to live music, taking in all the history from New Orleans, having the best time with amazing people in a really fun, beautiful place. Can't wait to go back!
